Clinical Service

  • Meet the individualized needs of undergraduate and graduate students with ADHD at UIC with the end goal of helping them fulfill their academic and personal goals.

  • Help students transition from high to college more seamlessly and alleviate concerns from parents about sending their child to a large university. 

Research

  • Collect data on all student members of the SUCCEEDS program who consent for research participation for the purpose of program evaluation.

  • Use pilot data for federal grant submissions to support the clinic

  • Students will be able to use data for honors theses, master’s theses, dissertations, and scholarly presentations/publications.

Training

  • Provide training in the evidence-based assessment and treatment of ADHD to doctoral, masters (e.g. Clinical MPS), and advanced undergraduate students as well as post-doctoral fellows. who will serve as academic and mental health coachers and/or co-leaders of treatment groups (alongside the Ph.D.-level directors).

  • SUCCEEDS program staff will receive training and supervision from experts in the field of ADHD.
